Hi Blogosphere world and welcome to todays post, There’s nothing I love more than getting all dressed up to go out! (Sometimes I think I like that more than actually leaving the house) I think over 2016 I probably wore some of my most favorite outfits and I decided today I wanted to do a look-book post of all those outfits! I love reading others Look-Book posts… maybe I’m just nosey? but I do love being able to see what others put together and it always gives me inspo for my next outfit! Hope you enjoy reading and let’s get on with this!
This outfit was one of my favorites from this years holiday, Although as ive realised from making this look-book I do tend to stick to monochrome outfits this dress from Boohoo really added a pop of colour to my holiday outfits. This colour definitely seemed to compliment a tan! I loved the twist detailing at both the front and back giving it a unique look.
holiday outfit number 2! I LOVE this pairing so much. The mix of textures from the white lace skirt and the black ribbed crop top complemented each other so well. I Think the black, white then back to black with the shoes looks great and really pulls the entire outfit together. The cut out sections in the crop top and the unique patterns in the skirt gave a twist on the normal top and skirt ensemble.
Sparkles, Sparkles and more sparkles! this dress wasnt the most comfortable to wear I’ve got to admit (glitter is scratchy… who knew?) but this is definitly one of my favorites. The design is something else and the high neck gave a smart casual spin on a simple dress. The silver and black worked so well together.
This outfit was for a daytime event so I went with a Jumpsuit for a more casual look. Again the black is very simple yet bold and makes a statement I really liked the low neckline as it wasnt too much and still felt comfortable and the necklace was a nice touch.
Last but not least (can’t forget the LBD) lace seems to be something I wore ALOT of in 2016 and this was no exception! This dress had a scalloped edge detailing to it which i loved and along with lace sleeves gave a classy and elegant touch.
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post and got some kind of inspiration from it!
